Things have been good the past number of months.

The moment the weekend hit though, it’s binge-eating big time! It negates everything good she did the 5 days before.

This same cycle repeated itself for a number of weeks.

Part of her knows all she had to do was to stop binge eating.

Yet, knowing what to do and actually being able to do it are two things totally different!

According to the World Obesity Federation (2022), one billion people globally, including 1 in 5 women and 1 in 7 men, will be living with obesity by 2030, and the number of people with obesity is on course to double across the globe.

According to the CDC (2021), obesity costs the US healthcare system nearly $173 billion a year.

Back to my client. She has a target healthy weight in mind by a certain date this year.

Hitting the plateau caused her to miss her goal. That was quite disappointing.

However, not being able to overcome the obstacle to her weight loss journey is even more frustrating.

We held a session midweek.

That weekend, there was no binge eating. The first time in a while. She was quite excited. Then, another healthy weekend without binge eating.
